Our Mission

Vulture Space was founded in 2012 by Evan Pack, Founding Director, and partner Dan Dreke, after realizing the need for a hands-on bicycle workshop and recyclery in Milwaukee, WI.

Vulture Space is committed to making cycling affordable. The use of our tools and educational services are free and accessible to people of all skill levels. We also sell used parts and accessories for any budget. By giving the public the space and tools to work on their own bicycles and purchase used merchandise, we are a lower cost alternative to traditional bicycle shops.

Vulture Space aims to help build a more sustainable and healthier environment. Our shop accepts and recycles unwanted bicycles, bicycle parts, and bicycle-related items. We are proud to have fixed nearly 1,800 bicycles, which might otherwise have been scrapped, from over 2,400 donated bicycles.

Vulture Space builds community by hosting and supporting bicycle related events and maintaining a diverse and inclusive environment.

Vulture Space makes cycling safer by offering free bicycle safety inspections and teaching safe riding methods.
